oh no not good. Dunno if you have t tops but sometimes they leak a little where the rubber of the t top and door meet. Usually they'd leak if you parked at a funny angle and your boot seal isn't in the best of condition?

Hi Maudy
I knew where it was coming in pretty much straight away
I parked it nose down on me drive so it pooled both sides of the tailgate
the water didnt come in over the wether strip but under/through it
1st attempt to seal it with silicone sealer failed so cleaned it up again then had one of these moments
Inside the wether strip has a sticky non hardening glue/putty just like plumbers mate
So a nice helping of it to both sides and the hosepipe ban lifted i sprayed it for ages
checked inside now all nice an dry
Just keeping me fingers crossed for warm/dry weather as me carpets in the back garden on the shed still dripping!!!

yeah exactly same with mine, seal not best fit and mine was slightly damaged. glad you've got it sorted. Had my carpet out for ages and a little heater plugged in one weekend and sat in car :S

Got a soaking passenger side rear footwell, doesn't seem to be the door seal. Do you guys think it could be the hatch seal? Struggling to find where it's coming in! :(

*update* As it's pissing down at the moment checked the car when I went home at lunch. Door seal is defo not letting any water in. Dry under the back seat. Lifted the carpet in the front footwell and theres a lake under there!

Are there any drain plugs in the body shell I can unplug? Think it must be coming in from the dash area but only on the passenger side.

It's already driving me crazy!

Found my leak. Rubber grommet on the passenger side bulkhead had fallen out! Waters been running down the wiring into the car.

Carpets are drying out now.
