Hey everyone, im new here (obviously) and just leaving my first post to say hey to all of you. I'm currently driving a 3.1 V6 1991 Camaro RS that is in need of a little TLC but im unable to at the moment. Owned the car for a year and a half now and had my fair share of problems but i honestly couldn't care, everytime i get in that car i smile from ear to ear, no place id rather be than cruising in it. heres some pictures of it when i bought it.

Looks really nice. I would imagine that there aren't too many V6's around that have been kept in such good nick.

Welcome!
Am very fond of those wheels
We have a set for Butch with Yokos
Isn't it great that so many parts fit across the various generations of Camaro?

Steve-- can we have a spellchecker in these posts? My typing is terrible!

Thanks for the kind words about my car guys, its nice to get some input from enthusiast's rather than just passer's by. Got a lot of work to do on it yet but hopefully ill start earning more soon then it can get put back to how she needs to be.

I also just found out the colour code for my car today as im wanting a respray soon. think the person who last sprayed it did a shocking job, paints flaking off everywhere and it seems so thin. want to get it done properly, anybody know where i can get it done? oh and the paint code is WA9537.

Well ive had the car for a year and a half now and a few things have gone through my head but i've recently decided that i want to keep the stock look with a few changes.
I want to upgrade the engine to a V8 with a manual transmission as although i really like the V6 you cant beat a V8.
Basically want to keep the exterior of the car very simple with keeping the RS bodykit but changing the rear spoiler to a 5" duck tail and the hood to either a Ram-air or possibly a 4" cowl.
Want to keep the same style alloys with the same siz tyre on the front (maybe not as tall) but i want taller and wider tyres on the rear to give it that stock drag look about it.
I definately want to keep the same colour as im yet to see another in the same colour at any of the shows i've been to.
I do want to keep the interior stock but maybe with a colour change to full grey or possibly black.
The stereo system needs sorting also as its not great and i love driving listening to some old school AC/DC, ZZTop or possibly Johnny Cash.

If any of you have any ideas that you can think of im definately willing to listen as i've got a while till i can get the money to be able to do any of these changes.

cheers

Dave
