Car Details:1985 Chevrolet Camaro 3rd Gen
Driving a few miles today and noticed a clicking noise which seems to be coming from the front of the car. I think it's from the engine but can't be sure.

could be anything... fan, timing chain, belt, rattling panel..

When mine did this we discovered that two of the spark plugs were trying to escape and we're only half way in

Bloody hell! Just had mine changed, might be it. Someone suggested lifters, is that a car part or an exercise ;-)

Being told by garage that it could be brake pads rattling in the carriers. Anti rattle clips duly ordered from Rockauto

Sorted, the garage was right, the new pads were rattling in the carriers, anti rattle clips ordered, fitted and now no sound of rattling dentures...... apart from my own of course :oops:

thats's good it was nice simple fix..
In the end we were driving around like Ace Ventura trying to work out where the noise was coming from :lol:

Now it's sorted I want to sell it, what with the wife's mobility problems it's becoming harder for her to get in and out of it
