So iv had to install a new battery as the old one had died proper on me, Iv gone with a enduroline 550cca 60Ah 12v as iv read reports on other sites that theses have worked well on a lot of yanc cars but the only problem is mines goes dead flat every two days or so. Any suggestions at all? Thank you |

Connect an ammeter between the battery positive terminal and the positive lead - DO NOT try and start the car! With the ignition off you will see some current draw indicated on the meter. Pull fuses one at a time until the current draw drops or stops. That will narrow down the circuit on which there is current draw. Do you have an after market stereo or alarm? People often wire them incorrectly so they drain the battery. |

That's a bleedin handy tip to know... I had a current drain on my BMW, and they did a similar thing, but way more complicated on a modern car, with 80 odd fuses across 4 boards on a 530d (turned out to be the aftermarket roof mounted TV screen previous owner fitted) .. Camaro only has dozen or so fuses.
