Im after a engine stand, strong enough to hold a V8 and swivel 360. Any ideas which is the best to buy. ? |

Ok ill rephrase that. I want to buy a engine stand durable enough to hold a V8. Ive heard some horror stories of them breaking under strain. Ive been been told I need over a ton one. Im just a little confused as I can't find any in this country which can hold over a ton |

A small block Chevy with cast iron heads weighs in at around 575lbs which is around 1/4 ton, not sure why somebody thought you needed one that holds a ton https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/prod ... ne%20stand This is overrated for a smallblock |
