It's been a gorgeous day down here in Devon, so after taking the Camaro out for a spin I got to work! This is before: I then painted the light returns the correct black (as it's a z28 not an RS). Then I removed the front grill and made some mounts for my new 'show plate' and repainted the grill. Then I made some mesh inserts either side which I thought finished it off a treat. before putting it all back together again. Finally, gave her a damn good wax: Looks good in my opinion!! So I went and entered it into the Bude Classic Car Show in May........ |

Nice work! Might attempt something similar with the grille on my Iroc, personally I reckon these look better without the fog lights. |

Cheers! I carried on afterwards and made cut-outs and then added mesh grills to the bonnet bulges as well, so they look like they actually do something. Then I replaced the ugly square aftermarket rear fog light with a slimline LED one and wired it into the original front fog light switch to keep it looking original inside. The old rear fog light had a large 'halfords' type switch which I removed as it was so bl**dy ugly. Have also ordered clear side repeater lenses and new front driving lights to tidy it up a bit more:-) |
