Hi Please can anyone help with an engine code decipher ? This is the stamped one front of engine next to the waterpump . V0714URM underneath it also has CD7 / 82549 . Ive bought another toy an 84 stepside from North Carolina (not to replace the Camaro i might add) Regards Alan |

So let me see, that becomes: V - Made in a plant in Flint Michigan 07 - In July 14 - The 14th URM - 1983, 350ci, 4 barrel. Right? On third gens specifically, I had a brief look and the tab where the code is isn't immediately visible. Do I have to remove the air pump to see it? |
