Oh hey - yeah it has been a long time.
Just been busy at work and so forth, and the IROC's been garaged most of the winter.
Now things are getting warmer down here, I'll have to get her out and start using her properly - which means sorting the cooling out as it's impossible to get anywhere down here without sitting in traffic at the moment!
So yeah, works been a bit mental and I've not been using the car very much.
Cheers for asking though. :)

Great news! Was wondering if you had gone 'dark' and sold the beast :)

Haha! No, haven't let her go.
I suppose the big news was me being an idiot and taking her out one day early January.
Thought she felt a bit funny on a corner - we have lots of those and hills - and by the time I'd got to the top of the hill there was an odd noise too.
Then something felt REALLY wrong.
So I pulled over and had a look.

Yup, tyre had lost a bit of pressure and slipped off the rim.
Thankfully nothing was damaged, the rim's fine and the tyre's fine. As you can see, the heavens opened once I'd stopped. I got absolutely soaked as I hadn't brought a jacket.

Anyway - lesson learned! Failure to do the simplest of checks on a car that's been sat for a while cost me £80 and got me soaked to the skin!
