Car Details:1986 Camaro, bought into Spain by me in 1993.
305 replaced by a 355, 750 Demon carb, RPM AirGap intake, Brodix heads, Hedman Hedders, 3" Flowmaster exhaust.
Wheels are Summit aluminium 5 spokes, tyres are 245 rear 225 front BF Goodrich.
B/M transmission, battery relocated to the rear, GoodMark 4" cowl steel hood.
Location:Spain East Coast
So I had a small coolant leak from passenger side plug at rear of manifold.
Took out the plug and threads came with it.... :o

So I managed to get a tap in there, greased to catch the swarf.
But the threads did´nt look to be up to the job, no meat left...

So the plug went back in with an application of JB Weld..............the hole won´t be used anyway.

Sorry the last pic is rotated, PhotoBucket is being it´s usual piss you off self.

I had visions of taking the manifold off and welding it shut.

JB Weld, they call it liquid metal, a two part component mix.
"J-B WELD is the smart and inexpensive way to repair something!
J-B WELD is the world's finest cold-weld compound. It is a premium product that has the tensile strength of 4000psi. This enables you to make permanent repairs, and save time and money. Guaranteed to withstand temperatures of 300°C, which make it an ideal product for working in and around engines. will not shrink or crack, while it dries. Once dry it can be treated like metal, drilled, tapped, machined, polished or painted."
