Nice straightfoward job replacing the water pump & serp belt , very lucky to notice the bearing rattle before it started leaking.
Bit embarassed of my scruffy engine bay after 3rdgenmalc's shiney photo's !
It now runs a lots quieter (under the hood) but once again the next job is found before ive fixed the current one, the air pump which is now disconnected also has a loose bearing.
I can get a delete pulley or remove it and get a shorter belt, not sure whats best as allready have dummy pulley instead of A/C .
It would be nice to throw everything away that side of the engine but the belt tensioner would be lost also.
Has anyone got any previous with this dilema ?
