Can anyone help!!!

This is what i have found at the moment. The car is using alot of coolent it drinks it, but there is no sign where its going. no leaks, there is no gunk on the oil cap no oil in the rad cap. The car feels like its running rich. when im sitting still for a while it stalls when i tough the accelator even lightly, first thought it was a build up of fuel. when i feel it going i give it a rev and i get a lot of smoke come out the back end. there doesnt seem to be any power loss either Im almost at the point of stripping it down to find the problem. any ideas???

Cheers

What colour is the smoke? Could it be steam? Why do you suspect a cracked cylinder before a head gasket? If there was a leak in the system you should be pressurising the coolant and probably pushing water out of the rad cap. There are ways of testing coolant for the presence of exhaust gas before rushing into tearing it apart. What if you pull it apart and find nothing? Where do you go from there? Always best to diagnose/analyse as much as you can before breaking out the big spanners IMHO. HTH
Cheers, Martin

I would guess the chances [ going on what you told us ] is a head gasket has blown.
Don't keep running your car ,get a garage/mechanic to check it.
Head gasket is a fairly normal fault and an easy fix ,cracked head far less common but a possibility if it has overheated badly , cracked block very rare unless not enough anti-freeze in winter.
Good luck with it
