Have you made sure the dial isn't simply turned down ? On my Firebird you can turn the dial down to dim the lights. If none of them are working I would have thought this was the answer. If only 1 or 2 bulbs had gone then perhaps not. |

Danus, The knob you use to pull on the headlights turns. all the way counterclockwise a click should be felt and should turn on your interior lights. also the instrumentation should be at its brightest. turning the knob clockwise should decrease the amount of instrumentation lighting. If it still doesnt work 2 things come to mind . the reheostat portion of the switch is bad or there is a possibility that there is a very small amperage fuse in the fuse box that is blown.(usually about 3 to 5 amps) Sometimes people remove the factory radio and leave the wire that goes to the instrument circuit bare and it touches ground and blows the fuse. this wire illuminates the factory radio along with the instrumentation (it might be grey in color). hope this helps ! regards Dave |
