First Question! 305 TPI, been sat a long time. Have put injector cleaner in it. It's seriously over fuelling at the moment to the point it cuts out when ticking over. It's gone to to the garage to have the Lambda looked at (and a full service). I'm thinking ECU Temp sensor? Has anyone come across this and can point a finger to the possible culprit? Many thanks |

Hi Rocky, Not yet mate. It's in the local garage and they'll read them for me. I knew the coolant sensor could be a culprit but didn't think the maf could cause that much of an issue. Thanks for the info |

My own Iroc was really hesitant and running rough due to over fueling heavily ( filling the workshop with smoke) which was just the MAF sensor as soon as I fitted a new one it ran like a dream. But hopefully it will throw a code for ya. |

On the right end is the big round black thingy, that's your fuel pressure regulator. The black cap above and to the left is the fuel pressure test port. Take the cap off, and underneath is a shraeder valve, identical to a tyre valve. Turn the ignition on and listen for the fuel pump. When it stops, turn off the ignition and count to 10. Now put on safety glasses and push a matchstick in the valve just like your letting air out of a tyre. If you don't get fuel spurting out (should be about 40 psi) you have one or more of the injectors sticking open. |
