Hi

I have a 5.0L V8 camaro, an 88 rs.
With winter arriving rapidly ive drained and filled the cooling system adding a new bottom hose and some anti freeze.
Unfortunately it looks very much like a slight leak in the rad core (i will need to remove it and check properly)
My options for replacement rad are Rock auto's who list at $85 plus $90 carriage (then some vat i would imagine) or spares place in london £185 + vat.
If anyone has experience of replacing a rad recently i would appreciate hearing from you.

Regards Alan

Get a quote to have it re-cored. My corvette rad rotted out and only cost $60 to make it all better.

Is it manual or auto as I may have a good secondhand one.

Rocky
Thank you for the photo's, im gutted because i thought this would be a good solution however unfortunately my rad has a heater pipe connection !
( I would guess that this is out of an A/C car originally )
The only way i could use it would be to get your one drilled and soldered or find a T branch for the bottom hose (i will see what i can find out and let you know)

Regards Alan
