Hello everyone, I own a 1992 Camaro RS. I brought the car over from Germany where I knew 3 suppliers who were able to give me the parts I needed. So far the brakes, steering and clutch have been completely replaced. I have stripped the car at a paint shop to get all the parts changed black and put it back together myself. Parts I'm looking for at the moment are as follows: Headliner, door control panel parts, fused cables, under bonnet sound dampener, plastic screws to attach to the bonnet, exhaust mufflers and door windows. Possibly that's it. Oh, and gaskets for the engine as I plan to clean it and protect the surface. As you can tell by this list it's mainly things to get this car looking the way I beleive it should. Unfortunatly the interior is from a Firebird, but I have seats and door panels from my old '87 IROC. I intend on making these improvements by the end of 2011, money and time providing. A few months ago my aux fan broke and I couldn't find any suppliers near Marchwood or Southampton, only a middleman who ordered the parts for me. Can anyone tell me where I can find a shop in the UK which does Camaro parts? So there it is, my rather long winded question :-) Hope to hear from anyone out there, here's a link to youtube where I posted the before/ after from the paint job. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NZOWqZPLYk Chris |

For engine parts I usually use Pauls Place, he's over near Bishops Waltham so not too far from Marchwood. And there's Dolphin American Services in Lymington in the new forest. I used them once for some HT leads, but I think they have a reasonable stock. Other than that I get any small item from Rock Auto. |

Try http://www.moderndaymuscle.com/ for small ish parts. May have your door control parts. USAutomotive is good for loads of things. Rocky on here is breaking a camaro and may have other parts. This is a damn good site for trim clips http://www.bresco.com/ GM clips available here http://www.oemhardware.ca/oempdf/GM.pdf Glass pops up on ebay regularly. I would opt for aftermarket underhood insulation. Nice looking car Good luck with the build. Andy. |
