My fuel pump has gone on my 5L 87 iroc. I am looking for any advice to do with replacing one. Where is the best place to pick one up, Should I replace it myself, is there a British substitute etc... I understand that England has a lower octane then in the US, will this affect the operation of the fuel pump? |

I have done loads of them but they are a bit of a pain to fit if its injected. You can get a higher rate one, best place to buy at the moment is Rockauto you can pick which brand you want. |

Rocky, is the Camaro pump same as 3rd gen Firebird T/A? I have an 83 305 CFI and I think fuel pump is dickie. What else do you need for install other than pump? Any seals or bits n bats required? |

Some fuel pump kits come with all the install bits, An original AC delco doesnt come with some little bits but you will get the main seal. Most replace the pulsator with a bit of tube which is up to you whether you install it. |
