Definitely not my choice, and i'm trying to find ways to keep hold of it. The main issue stems from not having access to another car, so when something comes up with this one and i need to get some parts, i'm kind of stranded for a week and whilst at work i can get away with the occasional work from home day, they are still in the dark ages and frown upon it. Explained to my boss that public transport is 1hr45 door to door including a 30 minute walk, vs. a 20 minute drive, and i work on a laptop so i can work anywhere and get the same amount done, but he stills insists i should be here. Anyway that's another can other worms.

There's lot of little things that need doing and really i need to know it can be off the road for several days (possibly a week or more, if i find a part that needs replacing whilst doing something, that needs ordering from the U.S etc.). So that kind of puts a stress on things. I'm living with la familia and the plan was to have my own place over a year ago but house prices have gone up by so much, my deposit is now worthless, so looks like i'll be here for a bit longer. Even 1 bed flats in the area are going for £280,000 :wtf: I'm looking at getting a normal daily - getting in and out of car parks due to ticket machines is a bit of a pain and things like having friends visit and needing to carry luggage are a bit of an issue. They've mentioned it will be a bit of an issue having 3 cars of my own, plus theirs. If i had my own place, would keep it without a doubt. It's great for a second car - weekend use and semi-daily use, but not to rely on for every day use (including the day to day activities like moving things around) without having access to another car. It's a bit of a bad set of circumstances - if work were more flexible it wouldn't be so much of an issue and if i were at my own place, pretty much no issue. I know i'll regret it, in a years time when i've got a place, it's won't be an issue anymore.

Haha, probably could go with a rickshaw and then get the luggage space!

Was that with your 3rd gen you did the weekend jobs? Imagine knowing about 10% of what you do and then you can get an idea of how much of a wreck i am on weekend jobs lol. Managed to borrow my dads clio (my old car) yesterday and today, not cool for him as it meant he was housebound. The Clio has no guts lol. Getting the alignment done tomorrow so should be back on the road pretty soon.
