Car Details:Looking for a good gen 3 camaro
Im hoping someone can help.

I've pretty much managed to gather up all the bits I needed for my camaro now, it's been hard work as you will all know trekking around to collect odd bits here there and everywhere, and while I've been lucky and found bits privately some of the prices are unreal!

What has become apparent is some bits are nigh on impossible to buy in this country for sensible money, either due to rarity or desirability, so it's looking like I'm going to have to make them, the biggest one being a t top headliner, these seem to fetch daft money for what it is, so I'm going to make one for my car out of fibreglass, the question is would it help anyone else out to make a few extra? I ask as if I'm making one I can make a quick thin mould and knock a single one out easily, but if I made more than one the mould would be much stronger and thicker, no point making that for just one headliner.

Secondly I managed to find the correct fibreglass bonnet for my car, does anyone have a pair of the fibreglass plates that go at the end of the fake air scoops? These were only fitted to the circa 83/84 z28s. Not the later louvred grills or the earlier opening flaps. Again I can make these really easily (or even buy them from the states for about £50 landed) but if anyone has a pair for sale cheaply or could lend me a pair to make moulds of I could knock a few out for people to help anyone else in my situation.

I could be interested in a headliner, dependent on price, as mine is shagged. However it's quite a low priority at the moment! No idea how I'd go about getting it flocked, though...

There are a fair few people doing flocking, a few on retrorides, I don't like it personally so I was planning to trim mine in either vinyl or alcantara as I'll be doing quite a lot of trimming on my interior as its tatty and from about 5 different cars!

There isn't a huge amount of material in the headliner (fibreglass) but it is fairly labour intensive, I could really do with looking over a car with an original one fitted to see how they fasten up and whether or not I can replicate the factory fitting method or if it will need to be fitted with small screws and cups.

I would think cost wise a fibreglass headliner would be worthwhile making for around £70. With a vinyl cover made and stiched up to fit it probably around double that.
