Sorry, I'm not intentionally ignoring you I promise. I haven't checked codes yet, stupidly thought I had to buy a code reader but have discovered you can do it with a paper clip and looking at the dash light. Will check shortly and let you know, but am going on holiday soon!
Unfortunately the problem seems to be getting worse. Am loosing power from around 3k now and it physically won't rev beyond 4k.
Have got parts to add fuel pressure gauge so I can check that. Also, custom prom is on it's way. Will also read codes and feed back on all of this at some point shortly. Will also look up how much an IAC valve is and may get that.
Seems lots of folk in the US have had this problem, but none ever seem to post back with a solution! Many seem to blame fuel pump / regulator / vacuum leak as a general issue.
Am still wondering why I'm shelling out more money sorting TPI, was going to stop doing that and start buying carb parts......
And, to add to it all, I've managed to get new seats from a fourth gen. Having to drive about 150 miles to pick it up this weekend!!
