Interesting stuff, and still could be a very good option, but the whole article never once mentioned the speed and time aspect of the point of HS2 which was to make the Midlands viable as a commuter belt for people working in London. Making a 2+ hour journey an hour or less, therefore taking the strain off the capitals housing market, and giving the much needed economical boost to another area of the country. |
