I thought it was so the ickle baby children don't have to walk to school on the dark. ..

Countries like Australia where some states change and some don't gets really confusing. .

Ye funny you mention Australia, i have a 2 hour conference arranged with a team in Perth for 8am UK time, which is 3pm their time (well it was 3pm) so that they could finish at 5. I had to break the news to them just now that actually their clocks haven't changed so it'll be a 6pm finish for them.

I don't see the reason either. It's not WW2 and farmers have lights on their tractors. There was a news story the other day where a retired couple have chosen not to set their clocks back. They reckon they've saved a bit on bills somehow (not having to wake up when it's still cold and and dark or something like that. If there's a vote, i'm in for dropping the whole clock changing thing, unless i'm missing out on some information?

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").
