That end link is not complete your missing a rubber element, there should be four in total.

Here´s a pic of my rear sway bar end link, don´t have one of the front but they´re the same.

That'll be the one :D

Found one from U.S autoparts on ebay, £15 delivered (should be arriving today). Will install it tomorrow, need to get some paint on the Camaro tonight. It's become a car juggling match lol.

lol sorry, i meant to say that i bought 1 item, being a pair. I reckon the other one is not too far off giving up the ghost. Arrived yesterday, Moog, can't remember the model number. Zinc coated fastener with poly bushings, should hold up a bit better than the existing ones.

I wish i had the choice not to drive it, unfortunately it's the only car i have access to. It's actually not tooo bad - doesn't exactly dive into corners but also not like driving a marshmallow. Doesn't inspire confidence on the country roads thats for sure

Will be installing when i get in tonight, hopefully it won't be raining.

Well took about an hour to get the old one out! Despite it already missing the bottom bolt, it was rust welded on the whole way through

Install of the new one didn't take long, hope it's done correctly. Wasn't sure how much to tighten the bolt, the cup washers started to move a bit off centre after a while, so took that as a sign to stop. Hope it's right?

Cheers for checking it out

A lot more solid on the drive in this morning :)

Yep, other one being done this weekend, won't have time tonight or Friday. If it's as rusted out as this one was, will take a while to get it loose

While i'm there, i'll need to weld up a spot on the exhaust too.

Also need to look at the alternator as it's sounding squeaky like a hamster wheel :( Wish i hadn't had to rush getting hold of one as i would have preferred a new one, like the one you posted before that you got from summit. The one i've got is re-manufactured - works great, just the bearing noise that has started making noise is annoying and i'm sure will cause it to fail sooner than later.

I'm on my second set of those anti roll bar ends since 1992.
For some reason I thought they were long life but they aren't.
They go hard and look like ancient Turkish delight....

They used to test shock absorbers here at the MOT but a friend of mine was failed on
new shocks, replaced them with new, failed again.
They checked their kit and found out the test was useless.
Mine with 1986 original shocks passed with no problem, only when I decided to change
them and had them off the car could I see they were well and truly f****d. :lolno:

So it pays to get under there now and again to see it´s all ship shape.

At the beginning of the year I did my diff and tidied up the axle.
I would like to do the front but the ol´ body is too achy now.
