OK my 67 Firebird is running a bit warm and I think its the usual thing with the divider plates rotting out and not pumping the water correctly so does anybody know where I can get some in the UK.

I have heard of this before, the impellors can be too short causing too much clearance between the impellor blades and the plate, this can vary from pump to pump depending on manufacturer.

Mind you, the plate might also be rotted away !

Thanks Paul but its a different pump, the older version up to 69 had 2 plates, its all done now but thanks anyway mate :)

Try Rock Autos ordered on Monday and bits arrived Wed from the States you dont get better than that over here was going to be 2 weeks and twice as much ,and genuine GM bits also if you order on the middle del price you pay the VAT @20% so no nasty shocks when your bits arrive :thumbup: Cheers Neil
