I would defo ditch the air shocks at the back and get some nice Konis or Bilsteins or better all round

we used Hotchkiss front springs on Camilla- I have the old cut down ones and others somewhere

Yes, to this. Any half decent gas shock will be an improvement on ride quality and handling with the airshocks..

The springs should control the ride height not the shocks, as people normally fit airshocks as a quick fix on saggy springs. When my rear springs came off to fit the new ones, of the 5 leafs in each pack, 2 had broken one side and 3 on the other, not at all unusual apparently.. :shock:
