All factory items fitted and working. Aircon and Cruise

Has anybody tackled the task of allowing more legroom for driver by extending or reloating seat teacks some how?
Only need couple more inches (no pun intended).
Any advice welcome.

Car Details:79' camaro road & track day toy. 383 stroker, 5 speed TKO trans, lots of suspension stuff, 13" Vette brakes, 18" wheels.

I've had mine in and out a few times (also no pun intended), and swapped a few different seats in having to 'create' subframes adaptors...

I reckon you could use some flat steel plate or sections of something similar, and just extend the mounting points back a bit.
Bolt the seats to the plate, using countersunk bolts facing up, cos the plate will need to sit as flush as poss on the floor, the drill holes in the plat and bolt this to the floor. If you could find some wide angle this might be stronger.

The floor slopes away though I think, so not sure how much you'd get away with.
