A couple of pics before she goes in for a full respray next week.
Going red with black stripes and losing the sunroof. I was undecided but someone told me the sunroof made it look like a submarine which made my mind up!

Good idea on deleting the sunroof, I´ve had three cars with them, one brand new and they all let in the wet eventually. Red will suit the car well, my misses wants mine repainted red but I can´t justify the expense.............................yet. I see you have a Speed Demon carb, do you like it, I think they´re great, mines a 750 vac secondaries. |

I hope there's not too many nasty surprises under the existing paint. Red with black stripes will be great. . Pics of the finished job are obligatory. .. |

There will be many pics! Still not sure what to do with the rear bumper - thinking off removing the knackered rubber trim and filling/painting the bumper. Can't decide if it would go red or black though! Malc - carb was on when I got it so nothing to compare to but seems to be doing the job

good choice loosing the sunroof  are you going to lower the rear ?? or fit a bigger wheel /tyre ???

It looks a nice motor ,always loved the big grill on that model red should look good ,any red that fancy  lets see pics as it progresses Cheers Neil

Didn't consider that. Can't find any pics of a bumperless rear - you got any?
