Car Details:hi i have had my 70 z28 for bowt 5years now when i got it it needed a full resto an now am finaly geting to the end just have a few more bits to find and i cant wait till shes dne.

hi all can anyone tell me were i can get a decent high torque starter motor for my camaro please because i was trying to get mine running today for the first time and the chrome starter motor i paid a fair bit for has melted the internals and iam told cant be repaired :evil: so any ideas please new or used thanks shaun.

I've got a high torque mini starter after I broke the standard (new) starter on my new engine. Bought from Real Steel, was about £130 and has a Hitachi motor which works very well in last 2 years...

ok mate thanks i will give them a ring on tuesday this one i melted was a brand new one but because i bought it about a year ago i cant send it back.

This is my old one, and sexy new one, failed only a few weeks after higher compression new engine fitted. You can just see where the casing cracked at the top of the pic

ye i defo need one of them my engine is fully rebuilt and very tight and so i think the chrome crap one of mine wasnt up 2 the job i will post a pic tomorow.

Hi,
A company called PowerLite are advertising in this months Classic American mag. page 71 or you can visit their web at www.powerlite-units.com They deal with High Totque Starters.
