Anyone fitted Global West subframe connectors? I have a set for my 1977 2nd Gen. I can't weld and have had so many bad experiences with local mechanics and garges I tend to do as much as I can myself. However I a bit apprehensive aboout removing and fitting the poly body bushings. |

Hi, Are they bolt in connectors? and are you replacing the body bushings as well (for solid metal ones?). Cheers, Mark |

I happen to know the folks at GW (I live about 6-miles from their shop). I can ask them for you, or put them in touch with you. Either way, your choice. I don't get on this site much anymore, so call me on my cell if you want some help with this...my cell # is (323) 228-8484 FYI, the front part of those should bolt to the rear subframe bolts. The rear portion should be welded to the rear part of the frame. Replace your polyurethane bushings with the GW aluminum bushings. The are about $120 US. Dana |

Thanks for all the replies and sorry for the late response....LOL! I have purchased and fitted a set of Hotchiks SFC's with work fine with my Hotchkis sway bars and springs. I did however user GW 1/2" lower solid body bushings and lower control arms. Cheers! |
