Hi all, I'm new on here and have some questions if anyone can help! First off I need a new tranny, a TH350. I've had a good quote for a rebuild but I reckon it would be cheaper if I could trade in mine for a reconditioned one. Basically I've lost 3rd and reverse and its a bit tricky getting around in it these days! If anyone could point me in the direction of a supplier or if anyone has one for sale I'd appreciate it. Second I'm having guage troubles. The fuel guage, voltmeter, temp and tach aren't working. I think the temp and tach just need connecting to the motor and possibly the voltmeter. The main problem that i need to get fixed is the fuel guage. I recently swapped the guages over and its not been working since about that time. It can't be the guage itself though because i've tried 2 which behave the same. Basically it seems stuck on just below half full. I'm sure it's either a bad ground or the senders malfunctioned. By the way I'm no good with electrics so hopefully its a simple fix. I'd appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks Gareth |

Hi Nige, it turned out that most of the electrical probs were a short to ground. still need to get the tach and temp guages hooked up but at least i don't have to worry about running out of gas now! I've also found a guy in Doncaster who'll rebuild my tranny for a good price. Back on track at last! Cheers |

for the trans i would reccomend John Sleath, he rebuilt my c6 from the torino for £300, and believe me, it was knackered. |
