Hi,

Ive brought a very nice pair off new seats from Corbeau, i have managed to fit them using my original seat brackets, but i had to use spacers to get them level. This means im sitting far to high and ive not got enough leg room either. I believe the floor pan is the same for years 74-81, which there is a hump on one side and also the original brakets fit differently on each side of the seat to get it level. Ive seen afew custom seat brackets but they seem to be only for one brand and model off seat.
Does anyone know where i can buy a custom brackets to fit aftermarket seats or someone who could make me a set ?

many thanks from Luke

I've had quite a few sets of seats in mine and always managed to re use the original runners, by return drilling the holes to fit the new seats.

Car Details:1986 Camaro, bought into Spain by me in 1993.
305 replaced by a 355, 750 Demon carb, RPM AirGap intake, Brodix heads, Hedman Hedders, 3" Flowmaster exhaust.
Wheels are Summit aluminium 5 spokes, tyres are 245 rear 225 front BF Goodrich.
B/M transmission, battery relocated to the rear, GoodMark 4" cowl steel hood.
Location:Spain East Coast
I bought a set of seat runners specifically for 3rd gen from Summit.
They fitted the seats I had but failed to fit the car.
You could get one bolt in, runners to floor, and the other three were out.
Height, as they came I would have needed an open sunroof to see my way.
I had to hack them down and rearrange the holes to bolt them to the floor.....

They'll need to be super low profile, the front of the floor on a 2nd gen curves up at the seat front.

These are the brackets for the second gens made by Corbeau, I've purchased from there USA office via the UK office.

Here is the link for different models and years
