How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

Seems perfectly reasonable to me - would save me having to wind down my window (i guess the electrics were removed), and hold onto the back of the door to try and get the damn thing closed!!

Haha! Being trapped in your own car is never a good thing. Damn good thing you don't have electric windows that that gave up / had a flat battery, you would genuinely be trapped

You can get bushing kits to rebuild the doors, think they are about $25 per side?

Its not being trapped in it! (i have a huge sunroof to escape through if that happened!), its closing my door in the first place!

Oh i see, i managed to trap myself when i forgot that i hadn't fully tightened the door latch. Hadn't installed the window crank handle either. Luckily had a monkey wrench in the car and used it to wind the window down. Good times.
