Car Details:Camaro genII 1978 LT with later heads from IROC Edelbrock 600cfm carb and performer inlet manifold and period wheels.
All factory items fitted and working. Aircon and Cruise
Silver with Ox blood interior.
Anybody had experience with new tubular headers or performance ones that can be fitted so you can keep gear selector linkage intact etc.
Mine has floor shifter with column lockout and dash indicator.
Tks
Oh yes I have dual exhausts running down either side of underside.

Car Details:1986 Camaro, bought into Spain by me in 1993.
305 replaced by a 355, 750 Demon carb, RPM AirGap intake, Brodix heads, Hedman Hedders, 3" Flowmaster exhaust.
Wheels are Summit aluminium 5 spokes, tyres are 245 rear 225 front BF Goodrich.
B/M transmission, battery relocated to the rear, GoodMark 4" cowl steel hood.
Location:Spain East Coast
I always search Summit for anything I need, they usually have something to fit the bill.
So I searched "Headers Camaro 1978" this is what came up.

You can look at the part and also check applications and any modifications necessary.
For more specific info, call them.

Car Details:79' camaro road & track day toy. 383 stroker, 5 speed TKO trans, lots of suspension stuff, 13" Vette brakes, 18" wheels.
Location:Luton
I remember reading about this when I converted to manual on my car, which is one reason i went with hydraulic clutch, but in most cases I don't think it's a problem, unless you go for huge oversized headers.
You do mean the clutch pedal Z bar on manual cars ?

Slight bit of confusion. Mine is auto TH350 with selector on floor consol but it moves dash indicator and reverse/in gear lockout via a linkage to column ring.
Wanna keep all linkage and fit free flowing headers.
Wondered if anybody had done this and which headers.
Seems tight in there.

I have flowtech headers from realsteel on mine for a dual exhaust setup - has a th350 on there with B&M floor shifter. Trying to remember the size of the tubes, think it's the common 1 5/8 ones. No issues, i don't have a dash display linkage though. I can take some pics of the underside if it helps? Does the linkage not sit within the inside of the car? I'll check the factory manual tonight after work...

I'm converting mine to manual, i've heard that manual and headers aren't a good combination :( I have the standard clutch kit from NPD, so it's all the factory z bar etc, hope it will somehow work
