Eyup, from Derby! Managed to get hold of a really nice 96 Z28 in bright red, low miles and loads of grunt. Have had Mustangs recently, but to be honest theyre not a patch on the Camaro. My car had 18 inch wheels with 245/45s on the back and it looked a bit undertyred, and so Ive done my homework and just bolted on a pair of 9 1/2 in Bmw wheels, shod with 275/35s, and its worked perfectly, the arches are nicely filled and it looks soooo much better from the back--am well chuffed. |

I eventually sold the red Z28, and came across a white 96 SS Z28 earlier this year. I bought it with head gaskets needing to be changed and have just finished doing this. Bit of a task as we took the engine out of the top, if anybody wants any tips to doing this job give us a shout! |

I read somewhere on this forum that someone was selling a Gen 4 SS, and that he said it was the only one in the country. Im not sure how rare they are, but I would imagine there is more than just the odd one?? Mine is a white auto with standard wheels and really straight, I love it and hopefully will be able to afford to keep it.. |

Lets hope you can keep it too! So have you taken it out since finishing the head gaskets? No idea on the number of them I'm afraid! |
