Hi Guys, Thanks, Yes it came pretty stock apart from the quite a high end 396 Big block, 12bolt with Richmond gears, Koni shocks and VBP composite leaf springs. By the host of Autometer gauges and terrible wiring system I think it was used on the drag strip mainly. One thing I am looking forward to doing it fitting the new American Autowire full update harness, probably just below installing the freshly built 396 (...410!). 90% of the build is decided upon already. However - Still undecided whether to go Ride tech 4link route or just upgrade to Hotchkis springs front and back. Wont be going on track but I do want it to handle semi-reasonable. If anybody on here has had the same dilemma would love to hear your thoughts/experience. I do know I'm having some custom lightweight D-type Nascar 17" wheels made by Bassett, USA - as the original idea of Forgeline 19's and Baer brakes price tag is just too much to handle when I put too much thought into it. I will post some pics when I get it back from the paint shop Thanks, Jake! |
