Hey Stu, loving the SuperBird. I really admire the practical American Musclecars. Is that Camaro from Australia? They go much better with the round bits on the floor, the roof can get badly damaged if left that way. Have to admit, I'm jealous now. '69 Z is one of my all time faves and Winged Warriors just make me wet myself with glee. Give us the SP on both cars please, you are obviously one of us weird freaks who are OK with manual gearboxes. Cheers, Martin |

Hi Martin ,Just fitting front spoiler, got new one but you would think it was made for another car!! Not the five min job I thought it would be. Love my manual cars but that superbird clone is a bit of a handful , I still can't judge the front as it dives away and you can't see the end.My mate brought it over last year and I loved it , he drove it once and didn't like the manual shift so I had it of him strait away.I have had a lot of cars through the years but nothing draws attention like that car, wish it was a real one but it's not a bad second. See you have got a couple of mustangs, got a 67 Gt 390 I'm doing but don't know weather to restomod it or go original but it's an auto !!!!!! All the best Stu |

Hey Stu, mate here (68 Charger) nearly imported a Daytona clone one Xmas a few years back..don't ask. However he decided against it but he seemed to harbour a dream for me to race it. Sounds OK to me. But I'm already up to my neck with the two I have, the main one being my racer. I need to retire and start up a little business doing these things for pocket (race) money but you know how it is. Loving your car choices though! Cheers, Martin |

I have two Mustangs now, both 1970 Fastbacks. The 'main' one I have owned for 37 years and since about 1990-something has been decked out as a Boss 302 replica, not a pathetic look-a-like as some try to pass off as a 'replica', 'clone' or whatever with some graphics that look vaguely like the real thing. This is my racer, has been drag raced from 1983 till 1995, then used in Sprinting 95-2000, then Historic circuit racing ever since. Small block and 4 speed (351C) with HSCC but now I have moved on to CSCC regs, a slightly stretched 351W to accompany the Toploader. Quite fruity. The 'other' car I have owned for 13 odd years but only recently got it home and this Xmas pulled it into my garage to make a small start on 'restoring' it. This one is a genuine factory M-code (351C-4V) Mach1 with factory HD suspension, PS, PDB, spoilers, rear slats, shaker hood, LSD and one or two other niceties. Being kept as a 'survivor' (rough looking) but mechanically and structurally excellent despite the outward appearance. I'm sure you know the game. Cheers, Martin EDIT: try looking in the 'other cars' section of this forum and go to 'Fix or Repair Daily' where there are pics of the racer. HTH |
