That's looking like a tidy 4th Gen to me, why was it heading for the scrapper ?

i'm up in Brummy land and happy to meet up one weekend so we can compare notes :)

 Howdy

Good work rescuing it from the scrappy.... Surprised it was there unless it had terminal rust (unlikely on a 4th gen) or bad crash damage...

Welcome! Earlier model 4th gen is all I can tell you. Is it a V6 or V8?

His profile shows it as a V6 3.8

its a v6 3.8

and from what i was told it over heated so i checked it and it had unloaded some coolant so i topped it up and have run it round and left it running with no issues well it had one the fuel sender wasn't making contact but an easy fix so happy days.

and im up birmingham every few weeks at heartlands hospital so yeah it would be cool to hook up and chat camaro

and i found out it had a lifter kit on dont know why so it has been removed an it sits nice now just gota do something about the wheels :chevy:

They are cheap as chips when they are runners, guess someone thought it wasn't worth fixing. There loss your gain! The 3.8's not a bad engine either.
