Hey everyone, I am the proud new owner of a 1979 Camaro Z28 in gleaming black. Only picked it up a couple of weeks ago and have a few small jobs to finish before I can drive it in anger, though have taken it down the Ace Cafe the day I picked it up This is my second classic American, my first being a 1968 Mustang fastback Shelby clone which I unfortunately had to sell some five years back. It is my third V8 car however, my first was a 1972 Land Rover 88" with a Rover 3.5 in the front. Anyway, just wanted to say hello Oddball (Neil)

Nice wheels dude, will u be popping along to the ace at the end if the month with it? My friend had one in the 80's that was painted purple with a cream stripe along the side, he was 5 ft nothing with a mullet and looked like a proper little pimp! Is it as clean as it looks in the photos ? You're not a million miles away from me in Rickmansworth |

Thanks!! Not sure about the Ace but yes if I am free I will see what I can do! I went along late on Jan 30th and there was a lovely 1980 Z28 still there.

Oh, and its pretty clean and solid but not perfect by any means, few bubbles and other spots that need attention. Need to sort the leaks and brakes before I worry about anything else yet! Oh and the rear seat belts, need to fit some of those! |

I only picked the car up that day, didn't get there until 20.00, most people will have headed down Chelsea bridge by then (assuming it was on!)

A really nice car, black suits it well. Any motor/interior pictures ? |

None of the motor yet, though it's nothing special (or clean), but yes here is one of the interior. Any motor/interior pictures ?

As good as the exterior, I'm envious. |

Thanks! Again its not perfect, needs a few bits doing here and there, but generally a very good and clean example that I am very happy with
