Post subject:  Hello there!

Hi there - just joined your club as I'm looking to get myself a Gen 3 Camaro. Just been through a break-up and had to sell the house so I've decided to do something for myself this time and buy a Gen 3 (always loved that shape).

Does anyone know or have one for sale - must be 88/89 onwards as these cars had the three point seatbelts in the rear (I have two sons 5 & 10 so need proper belts). Would prefer the Z28 but a RS would do to get me going (must be V8). Not worried if the paint or interior is not 100% but I do need a good engine and body. Looking to spend a maximum of £6K but any savings from that would be great.

Thanks for looking!

Hi and welcome.

You should be able to find a 3rd gen V8 for that budget and get some change back. Give Rocky at American Technique a call / email https://www.facebook.com/pages/American ... 6531222972

If he doesn't have something for sale now, you can let him know your details and then he can let you know when a customer is looking to sell theirs.

Alternatively, ebay / pistonheads are good places to keep an eye on.

Cheers,

Ray

Thanks Ray I will be doing that - been looking at ebay for the last few months and I've seen a few but I didn't have the money at the time. Good to know that I've got the right budget though.

Hope to have one soon and post a few pics (got a few mods in mind......)

Cheers mate - had some feedback about a 86 Iroc but still looking. Would prefer a 350 just for the extra grin factor! :D
