Hopefully it's something easy to fix, they're pretty basic mechanically, and the actual dirty engine bits rarely fail on standard tune.

Absolutely no idea what's wrong with it. It'll turn over but doesn't fire up. No spark, no injector activity.As for resto, probably not! It's an absolute snotter of a car with dents, scrapes, bits hanging off, loads of things missing, rust everywhere you look, miles of home-made wiring, and everything is broken. I'm gonna weld what's needed for the MOT, get it to fire up, do the bare minimum to make it road legal, keep it going, and enjoy it on a daily basis. I've had show cars and race cars in the past, and while driving something stunning is nice sometimes, I've found myself wanting something that is "cool" but without having to try. My BMW turns heads because it's well-dressed, loud, fast, and a thoroughly gorgeous piece of kit. If it weren't, it'd be a bit dull. The Camaro is far more effortless; even rough-cut and haggard, they've still got something pretty special. |
