Car Details:Camaro genII 1978 LT with later heads from IROC Edelbrock 600cfm carb and performer inlet manifold and period wheels.
All factory items fitted and working. Aircon and Cruise
Silver with Ox blood interior.

I have a '79 so not far off :thumbup: Look forward to some pics :) Is it already a driver or do you need to do some work to it?

@Mart - didn't know you had 79/80, top man :) Wish i paid that amount for mine lol

Thanks guys. Will post photo when resized them or work out how to share them.
Its fully working etc. Just need to do couple of jobs like 4 bbl carb n inlet and headers.
Sort out clock and lighter not workin
Other than that just enjoy as much as can.

Think it was until recently.up as sold now.
Just deciding which carb n intake to go for. As later heads with different angle studs getting right one essential. Any tips or advice?

I would look at Edelbrock manifold kit - the stuff is well bedded in and should work out of the box!

As far as the carb I would defo go quite small- a 390 Holley gives great torque with good mpg!

I'd recommend Edelbrock too, They likely do a kit for that particular combo already (I think I'm the one that spotted your post on PH), and you have later 3rd gen heads if my memory works...

Chevrolet 262-400 Small-Block V8
PERFORMER - FOR 1987-95
CAST IRON CYLINDER HEADS (idle-5500 rpm)
Designed for street 262-400 c.i.d. Chevy V8s that have heads with canted center bolt holes. #2104 is stock replacement/street legal part for 302, 327, 350 V8s with OEM 4-bbl. carb.; except stock equipped EGR. #3706 is stock replacement/street legal part for 305, 350 V8s with OEM 4-bbl. carb.; 1987. Both accept late-model waterneck, air-conditioning, alternator, H.E.I. and have rear water crossovers. #2104 accepts exhaust-heated chokes. For 1987-95 stock aluminum heads use #2101. Will not fit Chevrolet Bowtie or LT1 heads.
