Welcome to the club! I'm sure others will chime in soon. I had a 79/80 Camaro some years back, was a nice car for £250.............

Think it was until recently.up as sold now.
Just deciding which carb n intake to go for. As later heads with different angle studs getting right one essential. Any tips or advice?

welcome to CCCUK website!

I would look at Edelbrock manifold kit - the stuff is well bedded in and should work out of the box!

As far as the carb I would defo go quite small- a 390 Holley gives great torque with good mpg!

I'd recommend Edelbrock too, They likely do a kit for that particular combo already (I think I'm the one that spotted your post on PH), and you have later 3rd gen heads if my memory works...
