Hello. Again. :lolno:

Anyway, joined tonight as I`ve been lurking and reading for a week or two. Going to check out a recently advertised Z28 in a couple of days. If anyone would like to keep me right incase I blow it that would be appreciated. Camaros are totally new to me.

Welcome to the club! looks like this is the one you're going for? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... 99/1119675

Looks nice and tidy :) Plus you've got the desirable 5.7 v8 there :) Let us know how you get on! Maybe worth (if you haven't already) posting in the 4th gen part of the site to see if there's anything in particular that needs looking out for.

Cheers,

Ray

Filler rear quarter. Blistering on door. Crack/hole in rear bumper. Wheel bearing desperately loud. Possibly diff. Wouldn't start initially. Rusty dirty coolant. Mayonnaise in oil filler (possibly condensation) needs taxed, needs serviced, no real history. No receipts, light lenses totally hazed over, T tops leak, it steams up, transmission oil dirty, speaker out. BUT. It pulled well and the autobox seemed healthy enough.
A car for somebody needing TLC but not for me

That's a shame.. all those relatively solvable if the seller wanted to make the car more appealing... Guess he doesn't wanna spend the money or time/hassle etc...

You,re spot on but at 5 and a half grand its not appealing enough.

Sounds like it's had a tough life already, you did the right thing to walk away from it at that price. Would have been a decent deal if it was cheaper, but it appears to be selling at the price of a better quality one. Hope the next one's better!
