Hi guys!
I have been meaning to join this forum for nearly a year and have finally done so.
A bit of background about myself, I have owned many classic cars ranging from 944s to minis to spitfires. And a few German and jap cars too.
My knowledge on cars is good but I am no pro by any means. My know how is good enough to maintain these cars, but my knowledge of american parts (different diffs, axles...) is limited.
The 67 Camaro has always been my dream car, some dream of Ferraris and Lamborghinis, for me it has always been classic american muscle, the 67 Camaro in particular.
So I bought my first (and probably last) Camaro last year, the body work 'looks' mint and I have gone over it thoroughly, it clearly has been attended to at some point in its life as it was grey but is now red. There are tell tell signs it was used for drag racing at some point, the usual rubber under the arches, cut out roll cage, interior console ad dash removed. I have driven it a few times and it does go. After driving it twice I decided to park it up until now and now the work begins. Gaskets, seals, new radiator, checking the quality of the diff, the list goes on. It does not have matching numbers as it has a '80 350 in it from a pick up (I guess?). much much more needs to be done to it to turn it into a respectable show car.
I have attached a few pictures. Hope you enjoy and once again, hello from London. (If you are fairly local and can help at times, please let me know)
