hi all,

just thought i would let all you 4th gen owners out there the outcome of trying to find the cause of a misfire on my 3.8l v6.

this misfire only occurs when you give it some beans ! starts and runs fine at normal driving, so i changed the plug, then the leads, then the fuel filter and air filter, no change !
so after asking around i was told it could be one or more of the three coil packs ! umm. so i went to Frosts at wellingborough and purchased one of these packs, then changed out the 1st one , ran it up the road, no change, did the same with the second one, and BINGO ! sorted, runs sweet again.. these packs from Frosts are only £20, cheaper than ebay by far.....

Hope this helps any of you guys out there..

let me know if you have any joy..

wayne
