Hey all, still sorting through my irritating brake problems but getting there slowly. One thing I have noticed with my 69 Camaro is when stationary, it gets very hot very quick. And for someone who lives in West London, this could pose a problem at some point. has anyone switched out to an aluminium radiator and electric fan? If so, are there any prefered suppliers or companies I should avoid? FYI. Any parts I change or update will be done so only to make the car more user friendly in modern traffic and all original parts are being kept just n case I want to revert back any time. Thanks all. Happy summer motoring. |

The 1st gen cars do tend to run a bit hot in slow urban traffic. I run a factory big block rad and stock clutch fan, it works ok but it will rise up the dial in traffic. Avoid any cheap fans on ebay and go for a named brand like Be Cool, alternative is to look round the Breakers for a dual setup from a larger engined Jag Merc BMW as these will be up to the task and cheaper. |

Thanks for the feedback. I refrained from driving anything around London on Saturday but did venture out on Sunday. Ha it's like sitting in a portable oven. I love it. Appreciate the advice though, thank you very much. |
