Glad to be here !,an its good to know another 1st gen will be back on the street !

The flames were done by a pal of mine called Adam at the Signshop Sheffield-his first attempt !

S/knight.ive just finished flaming a mopar racecar,(i flamed the corvette on the cover of CC mag this month aswell)so am back on my mk1 cortina, which is half prepped for paint,i was going to keep it as a track car but its got to go cause ive just bought a resto, thats going to be a bit demanding, among others im also building a 35 3w chevy coupe, westergard lowrider, which will be a longer term build,as im collecting the "right bits" along the way,i just brought a 409 with tri power for it,but i dont see that car hitting the road for awhile.so you'll understand if i am a bit slow at getting back to you sometimes !.Bry

Thanks for the welcome guys, ive had the Camaro 11years now,it was rotten and an accident damaged write off, but was dry stored for 17years in that state,it was ordered new by a Belfast undertaker,he wanted a black E-type but found out you couldnt get em in black,so he ended up with a black 396 SS (L35) 325HP th400-with
column shift !!
I stripped it .jigged it,took it to the blasters,he phoned me and told me to come and get it,but id need to put what was left in "black bags" in fairness the floorpans, sills etc were really good, everything else was f@@@ed,which i allready knew so it became one of those in the corner ,when theres nowt else to do jobs (i have to say if is wasnt what it is i would have binned it at this point) but 9 years later my now son in law drove it to church to marry my Daughter, so i guess its part of the family now, its done 42k miles from new,all the interior is origonal, apart from the crash pad and the headliner, its all numbers matching, including the date coded -starter, dizzy,w/pump
and shortly after it was featured in C-A magazine the last owner in Befast got in touch
and we had a long intresting chat-the column shift was chosen because his 4 Buick hearses were column shift and he liked them !,,,,,,,,Bry -got to go off to London to buy a new project -which i am very excited about !
