Here's a pic of Black Magic,as owned by Terry Gibbs (RIP) which later became Madness . This car was very influential to me in my early days of owning an American car. At the time I owned a '69 Firebird & after seeing this car I just had to have a tunnel ram fitted to my car. I bought a 'ram but sold the car prior to fitting it, but I did fit a 'ram to my big block '55 Chevy. This car was also instrumental in me fitting noisy Pete Jackson gear drives to my cars. I heard it coming well before I saw it & it had a lasting impression on me. What cars made a lasting impression or influenced you?? Cheers....Nige

Living on the Isle of Man there was never much on the street to take inspiration from. It was more the TV shows that did it for me, hence my leaning to TV/Movie cars. But there was a guy over here when I was in my teens who ran a burger bar called route 66 and he drove an old Stepside pickup and he had some big old 70's ragtop too, a big Olds or something, it really did something to me seeing those big lumps of iron over here.
