Hi, Does anyone know whether there are any good uk suppliers of forged / deep dish style alloys for 69 pro touring Camaro in the making? I'm Trying to avoid spending $4k / £4K importing them... Forgeline do some amazing wheels, although some will require too much rear end modification, so it's a fine balance. Any suggestions welcome! Thanks Paul |

Northants tyres are worth a try, these carry a lot of U.S wheels and tyres. TopSpeed Automotive also carry wheels and tyres. What you may find though is they buy from the U.S and make a decent markup. Which model are you after? It may be possible to find some in the U.S and get an importer to bring them in. A few people on here have used Steve Lang - really helpful guy to deal with and makes it nice and easy - whatever the $ price is, you give him that number in £. He buys it, takes care of customs etc. and then you either pick them up (Watford area if i remember correctly) or pay for a courier. For wheels, as it's going by ship he can get a better price than $ to £ as shipping is cheaper than by plane. He does containers every week so should get here pretty quick. Hope that helps? |

Thanks for the quick reply. Topspeed don't seem to do wheels but they do other things I'm after so thanks for the tip. Yeh I know northanttyres, but they need to make money... I have imported wheels before, I'm just trying to find a uk supplier or a clever alternate to expensive forged wheels that look the same ie deep dish. Many thanks again. |

Glad to be of help! I thought TopSpeed did wheels, but only because they do tyres (tend to be more race tyres like Hoosier / MT). I wonder if it could be worth asking these places if they can order some in - i know that RealSteel offer the option that if they don't have something on their price list, they will bring it in from the states if it's car related. I can't think of any other suppliers at the moment, but hopefully someone who may know of a place can chime in. |

I always liked the CCW wheels, but not much cheaper than Forgeline.. There's a few other US wheels companies, but as Ray says unlikely they'll be in stock at any UK dealers. |

Thanks again guys, yes the CCW wheels are a work of art, I'd seen them before. But as you say, $1k each which would equate to about £4K once imported |
