Hi I need to remove the centre part of my 68 dash board to fit a new starter button.The old button is not working but i can,t see how to remove this panel that holds the heater controls etc.Also can I get to the ignition switch once this panel is removed?Thanks for any help. |

On my 67 the screws for the center are at the bottom and you will also need to remove the ash try. You will have a center console in yours which I don't know Inuit you might have to move that to get to the bottom screws. It's easier to get to the ignition switch by removing the clocks. If you don't have a tilt volume you can undo the nuts that hold the steering column and you will have enough clearance to remove the clocks, saves taking the steering wheel off. |
