Hi all,

I am after the correct size bolt for mono leaf rear shock bottom bolt.
I changed my rear shocks the weekend and found that someone had just fitted normal screw type bolts, to add insult to this they are not even the correct size diameter. :wtf:

Any help would be grateful

I looked on Rockauto.com and found a U type shackle, not what you´re looking for.
Can you give us a pic ?

I'm guessing it's the bolt on the bottom left of this pic, attached to the spring plate and going through the shock absorber:

I have checked KTS and they don't show lower shock bolt but they do have all sorts of bolt sizes, the problem is mono leaf is different to multi leaf and the multi leaf bolt stayed the same for year as the mono leaf was only one year.

Looks like I will have to do some measuring and see if I can work it out.

Thanks 78 Camaro for illustrating the bolt I need, much appreciated

Is the bolt in the other side the right bolt ?
Measure that or take it to KTS.
Orrrr maybe there is a metric equivalent available.
